Technical leader and builder · Writing about software engineering in the age of AI

Germany · Europe

15 years where systems, products, and teams intersect — from enterprise platforms to EU research consortia to building production software with AI agents. I work at the boundary between “what should we build” and “does it actually run,” and I write about what I learn along the way. Architecture, leadership, and hands-on building — usually at least two of those at once.

More about me

Currently focused on AI-assisted software engineering: how architecture, team practices, and quality standards change when AI writes most of the code. I designed and tested a methodology for this by shipping a production product solo in 6 weeks — now writing about the approach and helping engineering teams adopt it.

Selected work

  • Pflegehelfer (2025–26) — co-founded a care documentation app, solo-built with AI-assisted development. Live product.
  • PUMA.com (2024–25) — Lead Solution Architect, two engineering teams, performance and reliability programs.
  • SIMUTOOL (2015–21) — €3.5M EU aerospace consortium, cross-organization data systems.
  • PhD (Bamberg, Germany, 2023) — federated (meta)data architecture.
  • Lomisoft (2025) — architecture advisory for early-stage healthcare SaaS.

What I do

  • AI adoption for engineering teams. Assess where AI fits in your workflow, design the conventions that make it sustainable, pilot with real teams.
  • Senior solution architecture. Reliability, tech-debt, system design, roadmaps that survive delivery. Hands-on when it helps.
  • Technical co-founding. For founders moving from idea to product: architecture and AI-assisted development to move fast without cutting corners.
