Nasr Kasrin, Dr. rer. nat.

I help manufacturers and their suppliers make engineering, test, and product data ready to share - documented, governed, and exportable to whatever standard a customer or regulator asks for (ODCS/ODPS, DCAT, Catena-X, EU Data Act). The source data stays where it is. What changes is that the handoff becomes visible, governed, and ready to move.

This is the problem most companies hit before a Catena-X connector or an EU Data Act request produces any value: knowing what data you hold, what you can safely expose, how it maps to what’s being asked for, and where the gaps are. I make one real data exchange ready, end to end, and leave you with something that runs - not a slide deck.

Fifteen years where systems, data, and teams intersect: Lead Architect at PUMA, six years inside a €3.5M EU aerospace/manufacturing consortium solving cross-organization data sharing hands-on, and a PhD (Bamberg, 2023) on federated inter-organizational data architecture.

What I do

Data-sharing readiness for engineering & product data. Turn a messy data handoff - supplier to OEM, team to team, machine to service - into a documented, policy-bound, lineage-aware exchange aligned to the standards your partners and regulators require. Source data stays in place; what you get is a runnable starting point and a clear map of the gaps.

I also take on senior solution-architecture work for engineering organizations (reliability, tech-debt programs, roadmaps that survive delivery, AI/LLM tooling) and early-stage technical strategy for founders moving prototype to production.
